“The Nairobi Summer School on Climate Justice (NSSCJ) Cohort IV provided me with a transformative learning experience, connecting me with like-minded individuals from diverse backgrounds and reinforcing the power of cross-border collaboration in tackling climate challenges. A key takeaway for me was the urgent need to promote community and data-driven advocacy, alongside sustainable agricultural practices such as regenerative agriculture, agroforestry, and organic farming, to build climate resilience. The training I received strengthened my commitment to climate justice, inspiring me to launch a community-driven project in Nigeria focused on agroforestry, organic farming, biodiversity conservation, and climate change education. I firmly believe that awareness creation, climate-smart agriculture, sustainable land management, and equitable access to clean energy are vital for addressing climate change and food insecurity. I remain committed to promoting a future where African communities thrive in harmony with their environment.”
