In my journey to enhance my skills and expertise, I’ve obtained several certifications and licenses that bolster my proficiency in various areas. These include the Foundations of Cybersecurity for Managers, Digital Forensics Essentials (DFE), and Ethical Hacking Essentials (EHE) from EC-Council, along with certifications in Agile and Predictive Project Management from the Project Management Institute. Additionally, I’ve completed courses in Nature-based Solutions for Disaster and Climate Resilience from the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Network Defense Essentials (NDE) from EC-Council, and CCNA: Networks and Cybersecurity Expert from Cisco, Climate Governance, Diplomacy and Negotiations Leadership Program from African Group of Negotiators Experts Support (AGNES). These certifications have equipped me with a diverse skill set spanning ICT security, project management, and environmental resilience, enabling me to tackle complex challenges effectively.

My passion for Climate Change and renewable energy was enriched by transformative experiences, including participating in training cohorts II and III of the Nairobi Summer School on Climate Justice and attending the Micro-Grid Academy (MGA) workshop. These immersive programs broadened my perspectives, deepened my understanding of the intricate nexus between technology and environmental challenges, and equipped me with cutting-edge tools and methodologies to address them effectively.

The Nairobi Summer School on Climate Justice is a transformative program that deepened my understanding of the complexities surrounding climate change and justice. It provided me with a comprehensive framework for comprehending the multifaceted challenges posed by climate change and emphasized the importance of equity, fairness, and inclusivity in addressing climate-related issues. Through immersive training sessions, workshops, and discussions, I gained the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate these challenges effectively. The Summer School also served as a platform for fostering connections with fellow participants and experts, inspiring me to be a catalyst for transformative action in the fight against climate change.

The MGA’s innovative approach to capacity building and their comprehensive training program equipped me with the knowledge and skills needed to drive decentralized renewable energy initiatives. By attending the academy, I gained a deeper understanding of energy access and decentralized renewable energy solutions, which is becoming increasingly important in today’s world. Additionally, the MGA provided practical hands-on experience. With the academy bringing together local and international experts and students, it fostered a vibrant ecosystem of knowledge exchange and collaboration, paving the way for a greener and more sustainable future.

One aspect of my continuous learning journey that I’m particularly excited about is my keen interest in deepening my knowledge in climate change discourse and policy-making.
