On February 28th, the Zambia Environmental Management Agency (ZEMA) recognized exceptional advocates for environmental justice during their annual awards ceremony.
Among the honorees was Precious Makumbiro, an alumnus of the Nairobi Summer School on Climate Justice (NSSCJ), who was awarded the prestigious “Climate Change Activist of the Year” title.
