Nairobi Summer School on Climate Justice
The Nairobi Summer School on Climate Justice (NSSCJ) is an initiative pioneered by the Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA) and its partners
This year, NSSCJ Cohort V takes place in Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, from August 17 – August 30, 2025. In collaboration with key partners, this edition promises a transformative learning experience, equipping you with the skills, knowledge, and networks to drive environmental and social justice in your community.
The NSSCJ is conceptualized as an intergenerational platform to share, learn, and network on disruptive ideas that are needed to catalyze economy-wide transformation in a climate catastrophic world.
Since the school’s inception in the midst of Covid-19 in 2020, the Pan African Climate Justice Alliance has successfully delivered four Nairobi Summer School on Climate Justice Cohorts (2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024), with more than 1500 alumni
