South to South Youth Platform on Climate Justice
The South to South Youth Platform on Climate Justice –SYPLACTICE is a Global South platform formed under the auspices of the Pan Africa Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA),
it was conceptualised as a felt need by empowered and trained alumni of the Nairobi Summer School on Climate Justice (NSSCJ) which was hosted in Nairobi, Kenya 2022 at Kenyatta University from 30th August – 11th September 2021.
The young climate justice activists who were drawn from Africa, Asia Pacific and the Caribbean regions underwent a rigorous 2 weeks training and as an outcome of this initiative, the activists identified the need to remain connected and support each other in catalysing climate action in their respective countries.
Some Participants from this cohort were also roped in, paying attention to regional balance, and took part in the planning and brainstorming process
